Horses and Wine is owned and operated by Sandra Jochim, an experienced equestrian with excellent firsthand knowledge of the local area. She speaks 4 languages - German, English, Spanish, and horse!

Since October 2016, she has held a certification as an equestrian guide, and since June 2018, a certification as an equestrian technician.

Enjoy a ride on safe and reliable horses, discovering the beautiful natural landscape surrounding Ronda. Small groups of 2-6 people ensure a pleasant atmosphere.

Ideally, you should have some riding experience and be able to control your horse in all three basic gaits. This will ensure that you get the most out of your journey. However, for beginner riders, there is an opportunity to book a ride according to your ability. Please call us for more information.

There are many local wineries in this area, which offer us a unique opportunity to organize a wine tasting tour during or after your ride. You will receive a warm Spanish welcome, local wine, and tasty tapas.

OUR SERVICES

2-hours Panorama-Tour

Ideal for beginners and advanced riders.

We start with cleaning and tacking.

Afterwards there will be a detailed instruction on how to handle the horses in the riding arena.

Once everyone feels safe, we will ride in a walk and trot into the beautiful landscape with breathtaking views of Ronda, Grazalema, Acinipo and Olvera.

Ideal for experienced riders

We descend into the valley, crossing small rivers from time to time. We're on "The Bandits' Route" - the old path from Ronda to Setenil, and we walk, trot, and canter through the footsteps of the bandits.

Available only from October to May.
